For two years our loyal sponsor, Rotterdam School of Management (RSM) of Erasmus University in Holland has supported Peduli Anak Foundation in many different ways. Recently, RSM members came up with unique ideas and activities to raise funds for Peduli Anak. Here are their stories:

On 21 May 2009, Jana Nevrlkova, Jeroen van den Heuvel (EMBA '09) and their partners Roland and Carrie participated in the Wonders of Waste of cooking oil race.

Yes, you got me right, that's cooking oil to fuel a car. The challenge was to drive a cooking oil fueled car from Rotterdam to Rome. In two days time, the 19-year-old VW made it to Rome and surprisingly,  both the passengers and the car remained intact.

During the journey, they collected  € 4,895 for Peduli Anak. Now that's a lot of money to buy cooking oil! All of this wouldn't be possible without the support from hundreds of RSM students, staff, family, friends, colleagues, and business relations.

Meanwhile, Anton Mints (EMBA '09) donated € 140 to Peduli Anak by creating and selling a video of The EMBA '09 study tour in Tokyo. Arigato, Anton!

On 28 November 2009, an excellent MBA gala dinner was held at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Rotterdam. While having a nice dinner, good talks over flowing drinks, and a lot of dancing, a lottery was held offering prizes from staff and students. Some generous winners auctioned the prizes to raise money for Peduli Anak. The auction was closed with a stunning amount of donation € 1735.

Classes may change every year, but we hope that RSM will always be a part of Peduli Anak family. Thank you RSM for your support. Happy Holidays and wonderful new year!
