On 10 October, 12 dentist and dentist assistants from Dental Development Foundation Indonesia (DDFI) came to Peduli Anak to give free dental treatment for our kids. The dentists, led by Huub van 't Veld, performed standard dental treatments such as examinations, cleanings, fillings, and extractions. In addition, they also show our children how to brush their teeth correctly. The kids reactions towards the dental check were varied.

Of course just like most children, they were terrified with the idea that the dentist might take their teeth out, but some were also happy to know that they would receive a small present once they sat on the dentist chair.

In our local community, dental health is often overlooked until terrible toothache takes place. Therefore, this event is very important to educate the children about the importance of dental hygiene. Thank you, DDFI!
