21 July 2010 - More good news coming for our newly open school. Recently, Bea Nideröst and her colleagues at Swiss Dental Center in Zurich, Switzerland donated Chf 6,000 to Peduli Anak School.

Swiss Dental Center is a community of 5 dentists and 3 dental hygienists plus several staff. The clinic was founded in 2003 in downtown Zurich. After struggling out of economic difficulties, the clinic made a major return in dental gold fillings sales. Over the years, it has been a standard practice to use the proceeds for charity projects. Since almost everybody in the clinic has their own children, they made a pact to use this year’s proceeds for helping unfortunate children in another part of the world.

Bea and her colleagues have heard a lot about Peduli Anak from their friend, Ben Hollants, who used to volunteer in the foundation. Therefore, they believe that Peduli Anak will make the most of their donation for the benefits of the children. With the new school now fully operational, Peduli Anak needs a lot of support to provide the school with all the necessary supplies and also to cover the operational costs. This generous contribution from Swiss Dental Center will definitely help our students learn better in school. Thank you for giving hope of a better future for our children!
