Volunteer Programs

This site provides an overview of the The Peduli Anak Volunteer Program: who is involved? what it is about? and the challenges and opportunities involved. For potential volunteers we hope this site will help you decide whether or not the program is right for you.

The Peduli Anak Foundation Volunteer Program provides an opportunity to volunteer in Peduli Anak school or project on Lombok island, Indonesia for short term or long term period while learning about different cultures. It offers the possibility to develop personal and professional skills, to work in a team, and to learn about the challenges and opportunities of development in our interconnected world.

What’s it all about?

Supporting Education in PA school

The PAF Volunteer Program is a professional work placement. It is a very demanding, and challenging experience. Volunteers work with their teachers for an average of 40 hours per week; assisting with curricular activities; providing one-to-one support to children; and producing TLMs (Teaching Learning Materials) as well as extra-curricular activities. In addition, volunteers may assist the school and/or foundation with research, IT support, documentation, and curriculum development.

Applying and Sharing of Knowledge & Skills in PAF

The PAF Volunteer Program also accepts volunteers who wish to apply and share their knowledge and skills related to current PA Projects. Depending on their skills and knowledge, volunteers may choose which PA project they wish to assist or even propose a new project relevant to PA general work.
